The Museum of the Southwest presents a week’s worth of family programming from 10 am – 2 pm March 9 – 13. Offerings include art, history, science and physical activities for all ages along with dome shows and Cimarex Science on a Sphere presentations. The week wraps up on Friday, March 13 with Astronomy Day which includes STEAM crafts, the annual Rocket Xplore competition, robotics challenge, outdoor activities such as an astronaut obstacle training course and demonstrations, star talks and dome shows.
Astronomy Day is open and free to the public. Monday through Thursday of Spring Break week is free to Museum members while daily admission rates apply to non-members: 0 to 2 years – FREE, 3 to 11 years - $3, 12 years and up - $5, Seniors - $3. Think. Make. Spring Break! is made possible by EcoLab.
