Arts Council of Midland, in collaboration with the City of Midland Hotel/Motel Tax Authority and the Texas Commission on the Arts, grants dollars to area 501 c 3 non- profit organizations for arts-related programming in Midland.  All programming must have a public component to be considered for funding.  Administered by ACM, annual Subgrants are distributed once each year for programs that occur between January 1st and December 31st each calendar year.  Since 1989, in 26 years, ACM has Subgranted 2.1 million dollars in grants to the arts in our community.

Guidelines

Arts Council of Midland offers a Subgrant training/information meeting (July 19, 2016 at the ACM Arts Center – 1506 West Illinois at 5:30 p.m.)  At this meeting, applications and guidelines are discussed.  The timeline for you to consider as you make your request is below.

Subgrant applications are available on this website.  Organizations may apply once per year, with applications due and received on or before August 18, 2016.

Subgrant applications are to be submitted on a flash drive or CD, with one paper copy.  They may be mailed or hand delivered to:
